Although it will appeal to more sophisticated users, it incorporates fundamentals such as the Arduino UNO R3 board, making it ideal for novices. The MEGA2560 board enables makers to explore increasingly sophisticated projects as their abilities and knowledge grow, while the NANO and ESP32 platforms let them create wireless systems. GAR has a growing library, but that’s just the beginning. Those looking to expand their skills may discover literally hundreds of acceptable projects on the internet, given the volume and diversity of components available.

Got this as a gift for my 13-year-old a week ago. He loves it and is impressed with what came in it. He's been spending the last week learning Scratch and getting the Arduino to do things. This product is highly recommended.

It's a simple set of components for basic learning. Sensors and servos are Not the best for beginners. This kit has mostly LEDs and switches. The best part is that everything is included. Includes a quality Arduino board, cable, and even. CD with the required software. This kit would be great for an elementary school classroom. Or for a 60 year old geek who wants to learn something new ;-)
