Works great. Not too heavy or bulky, but still bigger than how the picture looks. You need to buy the air hose separately - $25 on Amazon. It is noisy for the few minutes it takes to fill - do it outside so the vibration doesn't loosen your floor boards. We used it with a nail gun and soon will use for sand blasting and power washing.

With a high psi of 150, this can deliver the pressure required to remove the toughest of junk and guarantee a smooth, clean surface. Furthermore, with 2.6 SCFM at 90 pressure, it provides the sandblaster CFM needed for light and medium work. Also, there is no need to oil the pump, thus no extra maintenance is required.

Got this today and immediately plugged it in and tested it out. So far I really love it. It does the job for my little sandblasting and painting projects. It fits nicely in the corner of my little work shed.

When delivered at 90 psi, this has an output volume of 2.6 Standard CFM, thus it has the pressure and CFM for sandblasting. With this, you can use a smaller nozzle to clean tiny objects more effectively. Meaning this is for light to medium-sized abrasive blasting. The motor, too, is efficient enough to start itself in cold weather. To top it all off, the console cover is there to keep it safe from damage.

I wanted an air compressor, but didn't really need a full size one. This is great for small everyday jobs, inflating tires, etc. It's small enough you can move it around the house or carry it with you very easily. I have not had any issues and this seems to be well constructed. I would say it is somewhat less noisy than similar compressors.

A powerful motor is required for a better compressor, and this one has the required efficiency. Not only that, but it can effectively remove rust, oil, and other residues from the surface, preparing it for refinishing.

I use the MAC2400 for racing and general shop duty. I bought it in 2010 and it still works great. I just changed the factory oil for the first time and the oil was very clean. I recently bought a Speedblaster sandblaster and this has enough CFM to run it intermittently, which is good for doing small parts or slowly blasting something with a bit more area. [...]
