If you want a competent, high-quality air compressor that won’t annoy your neighbors, the 8010 is an obvious option. Although there are other smaller compressors with somewhat lower noise levels, this oil-free type provides the finest overall package while generating just 60 dB. That is comparable to regular conversation. Moreover, the 8010A comes with a large 8-gallon tank and can provide air at 2.2 CFM and 120 PSI.

Pros: This is one nice little compressor that is great for home use. This is a great DIY home owner tool! The air compressor is a perfect size and the noise level is manageable. You can't expect air compressors to be quiet, but this has rubber feet which helps a lot. The tools fit multiple brands of finishing nails, and staples. It has bee a valuable addition to my tool set.
