I was a little unsure about purchasing this coat as I'd never heard of Berydale before. This coat feels thin but this is so warm. I took this with me on a trip to Iceland where it rained constantly and snowed. This coat was warmer than my Berghaus jacket which had an extra fleece inside and this is definitely windproof and waterproof. They are small fittings so it might be ideal to order the next size up.

I used this poncho a couple of days ago while hiking up a mountain, heavy wind and rain started so it got well tested. Put Poncho on over my backpack and used velcro tabs, i held the sides in so wind wouldnt catch it. When rain stopped i removed it, gave it a couple of shakes and rolled it up and put it in my pack it more or less dry, wasn't worried about anything else getting damp. I finished the day nice and dry.
