I thought the "sorbet" might be too orange but it is just shy of the "safety pink" you see in tee shirts. I am in between small and medium - leaning toward medium in most things and this fits perfectly in medium. Room for a thin sweater over a shirt. But jacket is enough to keep you dry and warm in just a t shirt.

At once glance, this looks bulky, surprisingly no. This is very light and sticks perfectly to your body without making your look stuffed. You can go roam the winter season of Alaska with this jacket. Such a charming jacket to keep you fresh and beautiful!

First of all, I expected a large package and was surprised when I received such a light bag. I tested the coat today in 20 degree midwest weather, with a 25 mile an hour wind! It held up to the test and kept me warm, with only a cotton tee underneath. It is so light and comfortable, but warm. I was so happy not to be driving with all that bulk of the typical winter coats. I hadn't planned to get a winter coat, and bought a coat last year from a competitor but the zipper broke the first time I wore it, so I tried to get a bit more quality. Also, I thought the fit was nice. Some of the reviews said the coat wasn't warm, but I totally disagree.

When it rains, it pours - and being tall, I've typically struggled to find a rain jacket that is long enough to truly protect me from a good downpour. This jacket is perfection! The jacket hits about mid-thigh (I'm 5' 9" with a long torso), and the arm length goes to my base knuckle. I was concerned about how the fit might be through my curves (especially because rain jacket material doesn't typically stretch), but this jacket somehow manages to cover it all very comfortably, without looking like a potato sack. Between the gorgeous blue color, and this fit, you could even rock it for a rainy hiking date...
