Combination of plate + air bag + all that foam felt strange at first but as soon as I started running they felt very comfortable and natural. Despite being careful in my run (recovering from injury) I found to my surprise that I had run one of my best 5 km times over last 2 years. Early days but these shoes seems reasonably robust and durable (lots of tread on underside which is helpful for rougher surfaces and also if you want to heal strike on sections of your run). Sizing for me was perfect (I like my road running shoes to be snug but I do have pretty wide feet and upper mesh fits nicely without being too constricting).
