I have had this jacket for a few years now and is my go to on stormy days. I have used it in Australia, Canada and Japan. It has handled blizzards to torrential down pours each time keeping me dry to enjoy my day. Deep front zip pockets are great they hold my phone, wallet and go pro with stick.

My wife is rugged, but still likes to have that feminine touch which this jacket does well. She is 5'4'' 110 lbs and the S is perfect for her. She is an XS for most other Simms tops, but a S for this jacket.

You are a passionate person, you won’t’ let the rage of nature stop you from doing your priceless running on top the Scotland hill during your staying there. This is your great choice. This jacket is a handful to keep away raindrop coming in your way. It’s waterproof, breathable and windproof. Perfect combination!

Lightweight, packs up into small stuff sack, I'm 6' about 160 and the size large is great fit. Thought about medium after reading reviews but glad I went true to size. Skinned up to 12,000+ feet the other day with 40-50 mph winds, shell cut out the wind and the breathability was incredible. Then it started snowing hard and the 2 layer Gore Tex was all I needed. This shell with live in the truck for the Summer and be available to my clients during the monsoon season formy fishing guide season because people seem to not show up with any type of rain jacket. I think it will make a great rain jacket also.

It is super waterproof, you will be surprised how it keeps you dry from your long walk in Scotland, strolling around towns and hills there. There is zipper on its pockets to secure your stuff nicely.

Recently wore this on a morning hike to watch the sun rise on New Years Day in Canyonlands National Park. Kept the wind out and even after spilling some hot chocolate on the front it dripped right off not leaving a trace of it. Also packs down fairly small and fits well. I have not used it in any rain conditions yet, but feel it will probably work well.

Great high quality jacket that is very versatile. Since it’s a 3 in 1, you can wear just the inner jacket if it’s cool but not wet, the outer jacket if it’s warm but rainy, or both if it’s colder and rainy. It’s also a lot warmer than you would expect for something so light. I highly recommend it.

Fits great, looks great, and kept my upper body bone dry in the pouring rain. Hood is a good size and doesn't block too much peripheral vision. It could use an internal pocket, but not a dealbreaker for me. I'm 5'11" 160 lbs and size medium fits great. Enough range of motion in the sleeves and body, but not baggy.
