A poncho becomes many people’s choices for their emergency gear when go traveling or any outdoor activities. Do you know why? it is because a poncho is a really simple one to wear and to pack into your bag. You can pack it into a small size then put it on your bag, then when you need it you can easily wear it. With side snap closures, it will not the rain entering to your cloth and even your skin. You will completely be protected!

We used two of these ponchos when traveling to a tropical country. They pack up fairly tight, and keep the rain out. Lightweight enough to stuff in your day pack, and when you need them, they're there. The material is not flimsy either -- they lasted the whole trip and we'll be using them again.

This rain jacket is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve wanted a long, waterproof, lightweight rain jacket that I can wear year-round in bad weather. This zip up jacket is perfect. I can wear it in the spring or summer, as well as with layers under it in the winter and fall. Sometimes it’s listed as a poncho, but it is definitely a long zip up jacket. I’ve been looking for a while for something like this in a reasonable price range and I’m really glad I waited to get this one.

Awesome jacket for the price. I've been looking for something like this for ages but everything is usually in the $50+ range. Tested it out this past weekend at a music festival that got pretty rainy and it definitely did the trick. (Plus it folds up nicely and can be tossed in a purse or small bag.)

For your summer or hot weather emergency gear, this rain jacket can be a great choice to pick, why? because it made from a material that will not make you get over warm when wearing it in the summer rain. You will stay cozy and relax even wearing it in a long time period. Don’t worry, the material is super waterproof that always makes you dry in the rain!

I purchased this jacket in the red size medium, which is my usual size. Fit is perfect and the jacket is definitely water repellent. It is thinner than I expected, though, and it's not very warm. So for a warm, rainy day it's perfect but if you are hoping to use it in cooler weather, you will definitely need a sweater underneath. A bit pricey for how thin it is, but overall I'm happy with it.
